The idea for Ronald Cigar came from a moment of frustration, reaching for a cigar that didn't exist.
As someone who grew up admiring the deliberate pause, our founder searched for a premium mini cigar that fit into a modern Indonesian lifestyle. Not too large for an after-meeting moment. Not too weak to feel intentional. And not too rare to share with a friend.
The search kept coming up short. The imported cigars were too formal, too expensive, and rarely accessible. There was a gap between aspiration and access.
So he filled it himself by built Ronald Cigar from first principles: start with the finest leaf and deliver something that the modern achiever would be genuinely proud to light.

Indonesia is one of the world's great tobacco nations. The land produces some of the finest raw material on the planet. And yet, for decades, premium cigar culture in Indonesia has been largely absent — defined by expensive imports, limited access, and a perception that cigars belong only to a narrow elite.
